Be Childish!
Everyone should mature as they get older. But that doesn't mean we should lose a child-like faith in our heavenly father/creator. After all, Jesus, God's one and only Son, commanded his disciples to "become like little children." Read Matthew 18:1-5.
I think, this means we should not be concerned about the affairs of this world or worried about tomorrow...both of which are Biblical concepts...to the point that we lose our faith, hope and love. If fact, this text makes it mandatory. Ouch!
Most well-minded little children are content and happy just the way things are. They are not capable of making conclusions about evil or what the consequences of making wrong choices are, or forming ideas or fears about the future.
So, the challenge is not to conform to this world's values, but to little children's values. This can only be done in faith and with God's supernatural power. It can happen today.
